TECHNICAL SKILLS: Trans-Tel has installed hundreds of miles of fiber optic cable and thousands of fiber optic connectors and splices. Every job is thoroughly tested with an OTDR and OLTS test sets. The test results are recorded and become a part of the project documentation. Cable splicing and repair; whether it is aerial, buried, underground or a building entrance.

Our CAD Department utilizes AutoCAD & MicroStation to provide updated drawings of newly designed and completed projects. We also utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) Services to document our installations.

OUTSIDE PLANT CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE: TTC has 35 years of experience providing quality construction services.

We specialize in the installation of manholes and underground conduit, trenching and horizontal road boring to complete end to end installation. Once construction is completed our highly trained installation crews install both copper and fiber optic cables, to include copper and fiber optic splicing and termination. We are also qualified to set and replace telephone poles and to install and splice aerial cable.

INSIDE PLANT CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE: Our department utilizes highly skilled manufacturer trained technicians and engineers. TTC will design and install, coax cable, riser cable distribution systems; to include mainframe installation and horizontal wire installation. As part of our inside plant construction, telephone system cutover services can also be provided.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: A PMO office was created in October 2008 to handle all aspects of managing on-going projects awarded to TTC.

CABLING SYSTEM CERTIFICATIONS: Our cabling system certifications include Avaya SYSTIMAX VAR, Leviton Voice & Data certified installation, Hubbell Premise Wiring, Ortronics Certified Installer, Siemon Cabling Systems VAR, and Belden Cabling solutions.

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: Our product distribution is extensive; these products include but not limited to; fiber optic & copper cable and associated products, LAN network electronics and wiring components, voice and data transmission products, video network components, audio paging and teleconferencing equipment, interactive voice response equipment and telephone switching equipment (Siemens, Nortel, Alcatel, Mitel, NEC).
