Jay R. Eliason

CEO

Jay was named CEO of Trans-Tel Central, Inc. in November 2010. Prior to joining Trans-Tel, Mr. Eliason enjoyed a long career as a CPA and an entrepreneur in the organization, start-up, and operation of cable television and telecom-related companies. In 2003, Mr. Eliason co-founded and was the CEO of Dynamic TeleCard, which grew from a start-up to $50 million in revenue per year and was sold to Euronet Worldwide in March 2006. As CEO of Ready Mobile (a spinoff of Dynamic), Mr. Eliason directed its growth and eventual sale in 2007 to Titan Wireless. Since 1985, Mr. Eliason has been involved in over 100 transactions and several industries, and still retains an ownership position in several companies, including Farmers Grain Express (North Carolina and Missouri), Composite Technologies (Boone, Iowa), Borgen Systems (Des Moines), and several family businesses in Des Moines and Australia.

A. "Scott" Jackson

Executive Vice President/CFO

Scott went to work for Trans-Tel Central, Inc. in 1992 as its Controller and was appointed Executive Vice President in 1995. During this time, Trans-Tel's annual revenues have increased from $4 million to nearly $30 million. His career started in 1974 when he joined the Big 8 accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. While there, Mr. Jackson completed numerous training programs and was a bank audit specialist, an oil and gas audit specialist and a computer audit specialist.

Mitchell Thomas

CIO / CTO

Mitchell brings more than 25 years of combined business, engineering and information technology experience, most recently serving as the Air force Cyber Command’s Senior Duty Officer and Chief of Mission Systems Division. He has served with the USAF and defense contractors in multiple IT and cyber security related programs within the operational and intelligence communities. Additionally, he was instrumental in advancing major innovations in enterprise system management, cyber security, operations center consolidation, and data center design. Mitchell has a bachelor's degree in business engineering from Texas A&M Kingsville, a BBA in information systems from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a master's degree in information systems from Lesley University.

Todd Michael Martinez

Vice President of Strategic Programs

Todd is the Vice President of Strategic Programs at Trans-Tel. He has over 28 years of progressive experience in DoD contract programs including legacy DoD IT programs under ULANA II, ITS BPA, NETCENTS, ENCORE, DSSMP, IMod, and now NETCENTS-2. He is a decorated Desert Shield/Storm combat veteran and a former active duty USAF warranted Contracting Officer. During his career, Mr. Martinez has maintained a Professional Certification in Government Contract Management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library v. 3 Certification, and Project Management Professional Certification. He is a member of AFCEA, NCMA, and PM, as well as an active lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion.

Thomas Bruce Key Jr.

Vice President of Construction Division

Bruce is the Vice President of the Construction Division. He has over 23 years of progressive experience in DoD IT programs including legacy DoD IT programs under ULANA, ULANA II, NETCENTS, ENCORE, IMod, and now NETCENTS 2. His current focus is to leverage existing Trans-Tel networking capabilities into tailored solutions for DoD customers with requirements in Information Transportation Systems and Telephony.

Mr. Key earned his Bachelor of Business Administration/Computer Information Systems Degree from South West Texas State University. He started his IT career In the Civil Service at Kelly AFB and progressed to the base wide Network Manager. Since he left Civil Service he has continued to support all branches of the DoD as a contractor.

 

John Stallings

Vice President of Enterprise Solutions

John is the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Trans-Tel. Prior to joining Trans-Tel, Mr. Stallings served in a variety of functions with Harris IT Services, including key roles in capture and operations activities on a number of major programs, including the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI), and TSA Information Technology Infrastructure Program (ITIP). In addition, he served as a key member in the startup of the Harris Commercial Managed Services division, where he was tasked with establishing a comprehensive digital signage offering that leveraged the combined strength of the Harris signage platform and field services capabilities. Major industry players, including McDonald's and 7-11, have implemented this offering. In addition, Mr. Stallings served in the U.S. Navy from 1989-1997. During this period, he served aboard several submarines in a nuclear engineering capacity.

Brad Fischer, RCDD, ITIL

Director of Operations

Brad has been with Trans-Tel over 12 years, practicing engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing communications systems. During that time he has specialized in the design and installation of various inside plant and outside plant distribution systems, including fiber-optic and copper cabling systems and manhole and duct systems. Additionally, Mr. Fischer has extensive experience in the installation of network hardware components.

Ken C. Hodge, RCDD

Director of Infrastructure Engineering

Ken is an OSP/ISP Engineer with over 21 years of experience in the design and installation of telecommunications cabling infrastructures. He is a factory Certified Design Engineer for ComScope/Systimax, Belden, Siemon, Hubbell, and Leviton, and also a BICSI Registered Communication Distribution Designer (RCDD). He spent three years as a Certified BICSI Instructor for ITS Installer Level I, ITS Installer Level II, and ITS Technician. Mr. Hodge's experience includes complete fiber-optic and copper system design in large campus environments, overseeing design drawing packages and design approval as well as being Senior Project Engineer during the implementation phases.

Clif McElyea

Controller

Clif is the Controller at Trans-Tel. He is responsible for executing all of the company's internal and external reporting, as well as ensuring that these documents comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Additionally, he assumes responsibility for establishing financial policies, procedures, and reporting systems. Mr. McElyea joined Trans-Tel in March 2008. Prior to joining Trans-Tel, he served as a manager with a local accounting firm in a number of roles including, most recently, Manager of Corporate Accounting for the Oklahoma City office. Mr. McElyea has a solid track record in finance and organizational leadership with expertise in accounting and financial analysis.
